What services does Rock Solid Exteriors offer?
We handle the outside of your home: roof replacement and repair (asphalt shingle and metal), siding, soffit and fascia, seamless gutters and gutter guards, replacement windows and doors, concrete, and attic insulation and ventilation. We also work on commercial exteriors.

Roofing
How do I know if I need a roof repair or a full replacement?
Some problems, like a small leak, a few damaged shingles or loose flashing, can often be repaired. Widespread wear, repeated leaks or damage across large areas usually point to a replacement. Warning signs worth a closer look include curling or cracked shingles, bare spots where granules have worn off, granules collecting in your gutters, and water stains on ceilings or in the attic. What roofing materials do you install?
We install asphalt shingles, metal shingles and metal roofs. We work with trusted manufacturers, including Owens Corning and CertainTeed.
How long does a roof replacement take?
It depends on the size and complexity of the roof. Some roof replacements can be finished in a single day, and larger or more complicated jobs take longer. Once the old shingles are off, any damaged roof decking has to be replaced before the new roof goes on, which can add time. Your estimate will explain what to expect for your home, and we’ll keep you updated if anything changes.
What does being an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor mean for me?
Owens Corning Preferred Contractors are independent roofers that Owens Corning has credentialed, and they have to meet requirements for insurance, licensing and product training. For you, it means your roof is installed by a trained Owens Corning installer, and we can register Owens Corning Preferred Protection or System Protection Roofing System Limited Warranties on qualifying roofs. Siding, Windows and Concrete
What types of siding do you install?
We install vinyl siding, James Hardie fiber cement, metal and aluminum siding, cedar shake-style siding and stone veneer such as Versetta Stone. We’re a James Hardie Select Contractor and a Mastic Preferred contractor, and we also install CertainTeed products.
How do I choose the right siding material?
Start with how much upkeep you want and the look you like. Vinyl is low maintenance, never needs painting and is budget friendly. Fiber cement gives you the look of wood and resists rot, pests and fire. Metal siding is tough and suits modern styles. Stone veneer adds texture, often as an accent around the base of a house or an entry. We’ll bring samples so you can see colors and textures against your roof, brick and trim before you decide.
Do you repair siding, or only replace it?
Both. If only part of your siding is damaged, we’ll look at whether a siding repair makes sense. If the siding is failing across the house, a full replacement is often the better long-term choice.
Can you replace soffit, fascia and gutters at the same time as siding?
Yes. Soffit, fascia and seamless gutters are often done together with siding so the whole exterior is finished and matched. Vented soffit also helps bring fresh air into your attic.
What window brands and styles do you offer?
We install replacement windows and doors from MI Windows and Doors and ProVia. Popular styles include double-hung, casement, slider, picture, bay and bow, and awning windows, plus custom shapes and sizes. What kinds of concrete work do you do?

What happens during an estimate?
We start by listening to what you want and what’s bothering you about your home now. Then we look over the roof, siding, windows or concrete involved, recommend the options that fit your home and budget, and help you choose materials, colors and finishes. You get a detailed written estimate afterward. There’s no pressure to sign on the spot.
Why don’t you list prices on your website?
Every home is different. The size of the job, the materials you choose and the condition of what’s there now all change the cost. Your written estimate spells out materials, labor and any additional work, so you know what you’re paying for with no hidden fees.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. Financing is available on approved credit. We work with multiple financing companies, and after your estimate we can help you apply. Learn more on our financing page.
Can you help with an insurance claim for storm damage?
Yes. We inspect and photo-document storm and hail damage, explain honestly whether it looks worth a claim, and can meet your insurance adjuster at the house. The inspection is free. Your insurance company makes the final decision on what your policy covers. After a storm, it helps to take photos of any damage, keep water out if you safely can, and check your policy’s deadlines for reporting a claim.
Do you offer a discount for veterans?
Yes. We offer veterans a 10% discount on our services as a thank-you for their service. Mention it when you schedule your estimate.
Warranties and the Job Itself
What warranty comes with a new roof?
Because we’re an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor, qualifying roofs can be covered by Owens Corning Preferred Protection or System Protection Roofing System Limited Warranties. These are manufacturer warranty options, and the coverage depends on the roofing system you choose, so ask for the terms on your roof. Details are on our warranties page.
What about warranties on siding, windows and concrete?
Siding and window products come with manufacturer warranties that vary by product line, and we stand behind our workmanship. We’ll give you the written warranty terms for the exact products in your estimate so you can compare before you decide.
Do you pull permits?
Yes. We pull the permits your city or township requires for your project, so you don’t have to handle that paperwork yourself.
Will you clean up when the job is done?
Yes. Cleanup is part of every job. Our crews pick up debris before they leave, so you can get back to using your yard and driveway.
