What concrete work do you do?
We pour driveways, patios, sidewalks and walkways, garage pads and pool decks, plus decorative stamped, exposed aggregate and stained concrete. We also install pavers.
How soon can I drive on a new concrete driveway?
As a general rule, light foot traffic is possible after a day or two, and cars usually have to wait about a week, with heavier vehicles waiting longer. We give you the exact timing for your pour and the weather it was poured in.
Will my new concrete crack?
All concrete shrinks as it cures, and some cracking is normal. Control joints are placed so the slab cracks in straight, planned lines. A well-compacted base, proper thickness and good drainage help prevent the random cracking and heaving that ruin slabs.
Stamped, exposed aggregate or broom finish: which should I choose?
A broom finish is the most economical and gives good traction. Stamped concrete imitates stone, brick or slate. Exposed aggregate shows the natural stone in the mix and adds grip. Decorative finishes should be sealed. We can price more than one finish so you can compare.
Do I need a permit?
Many cities and townships require one, especially for driveway aprons near the street. We pull the permits your city requires.
