About this project
Siding and gutters on Oneida Drive in Clinton Township. The close-up shows how the gable was split into two textures: shake-style siding at the peak and vertical panels below. That breaks up a big wall above the brick and gives the house more character than one flat field of siding.
Once the old siding was off, some of the wood underneath needed replacing. We repaired it before the new siding went on, as an approved upgrade.
What we did
Installed shake-style siding in the gable
Ran vertical panel siding below it, above the brick
Replaced the gutters
Replaced damaged wood under the siding (approved upgrade)
