About this project

A decorative patio on South Colonial Court in St. Clair Shores. The surface shows the small stones of an exposed-aggregate finish, and a dark charcoal border follows the patio’s curved edge into the lawn.

This homeowner came back to us: we had already sided the home in an earlier job. The patio was finished about a month after it was approved.

What we did

• Poured a patio with an exposed-aggregate surface
• Added a dark, contrasting border band that follows the curved edge
• Cut control joints across the field of the patio
